I need chip info
OK so i have a 1996 f-350 5 speed and all thats done to it is straitpipe and cold air intake
IM trying to find a chip for it and the most i have to spend is 500$ i have been told about tdp chips but then i found ts performance but i want to make an informed buy for my truck, please give opinions on which chip i should get and why

do you know anything about the ts preformance chips? a friend has one of those and how much will a chip change my truck very much since its a 5 speed?

 

and will a smoke position mess up anything such as my tranny? ive always been under the impression that if it smokes then its broke

 

Just about all tuners use the TS chip. The TS tunes(can tunes) are not the best. You want custom tuning

With stock injectors you'll see about 60hp.

With the stock injectors you won't get a lot of smoke.
