15.7/100KMS. Not bad m8.
I started of with 15.4/100 before most of my mods. Jumped to 16.5/100 when I put the 31 " tyres on. Now with the new engine big sticks and plenty of rat bag'n Im up to 16.8 around town. 15.5 on highway.

Stock everything with the common mods over the engine, 17 L/100km for my Xmas road trip. Had roof racks and a 2 man kayak on top and the end of a 10' surfboard hanging over the back, 4 up & a dog inside & the tray full of luggage.

Superchips set to Performance no-tow.

Blew the topside intercooler boot off which in turn tore a piece of the insulating matting on the bonnet. No biggy. I have had a hard time keeping the boots on since I chromed the IC pipes. Just put em back on and do em up tighter each time.

Just did exactly 700 km for 105 litres, so that's better. Most was in tow safe on superchip and few with caravan in tow

think they just paint em. But if I was to go colour I would find a small operator and have em powder coated. Just leave the ends where the boots go

1556km for 236 ltr, 7.3 TD with 4" lift

= 15.2 L 100 km - highway use mostly with the kayak on top.

As far as I'm concerned still better than my old 4.7 petrol Landcruiser 100 series doing the same job!

Hey Rod, what sort of load where you hauling for 18.5?

Maybe it wasn't quite full when you started your trip?
