If that thing has a 22cm exhaust housing, I would suggest trying to get a 19cm housing for it if you use it with stage 2's.

Right now I'm running an S466 with an 83mm turbine wheel and .90 turbine housing with my stage 2's. It starts making boost right around 1400-1500 RPM. Note, that is not spooled up at 1500, it's just making a little boost. It get's spooled around 2000 RPM. If your in a 5 speed truck, it doesn't spool in 2nd gear until around 2400 RPM, but it turned out better this way b/c it doesn't light the tires up so easily.

An S366 will have smaller turbine wheel options, so I'd run up to the 1.10 housing. I would have to call FI, Bullseye, and/or II and see what is available for the S366 on the exhaust side, but I think you can get a wheel somewhere around 80mm/73mm. If that can be done, I'd do that with a 1.10 housing probably spool a little slower than stock, but probably faster than mine does. If it spools as well as mine or even faster it would be a great turbo.

Was your engine in or out of the truck?
Got any pics?
Not to bad to install. Engine was in the truck, had to take bolts out of engine and tranny mount and jack about an inch or so to get the uppipes/ turbo mount in as it is all one piece. would have been easier if engine or tranny was out of truck but still not too bad. sorry no pics..I can't seem to ever think about taking any till job is done??!! Jake is verry good to work with so he should be able to help you with whatever you decide to do. The uppipes/mount look about the same as the one Travis got from murf(iirc) but it has been a while since I'v seen the pic he posted. Good luck

Only real difference between yours and mine is Jake's kit mounts the turbo straight in the valley similar to the Hypermax kits. Mine mounts the turbo on an angle similar to the stock one. How much space was there for your downpipe between the firewall and uppipe?

Just a heads up... but I believe the entire kit except for the down-pipe is made with stainless now.

Jake is a good dude... when I order my T4 mount kit/turbo.... It will be from Jake.

Oh boy, just when I think I'm starting to understand this, or at least scratch the surface, LOL. Well, first things first, I'll pull the injectors in the Fall and see what I have and possibly have them rebuilt into what I need.

Travis you are correct mine mounts straight in the valley as a hypermax does. Therefore the down pipe supplied was a fabricateing challenge, but several angles and alot of welding and prep worked good...... but I do enjoy fabricating. To answer youre question, there was not much room for the DP but I made it fit.

I would be willing to bet that yours still fit better than mine did. With any normal turbo arrangement, I'm pretty sure that I'd have enough room for a 4 or 4 1/2" DP after all the firewall modifications, but with this thing a 3" is a tight fit and still hits the firewall. lol It's nice having the turbo angled like it is for the intake and exhaust routing, but the uppipes could have been done better to allow more clearance for the downpipe..

Wait so if you get a turbo mount like his where it is more in the valley and straight... You have different uppipe arrangement and can fit a larger DP without modifying the firewall?

Or still need slight modification, but less than if your turbo is mounted at the angle?
