1967 Camper Special
1967 Ford F-250 Camper Special, Custom Cab, Ranger edition. It has a 352 V8, automatic transmission, manual choke
PS and PB and what sold me...a working spot light!
Original black paint
They were not 100% if the engine was original or rebuilt (third owner) - we originally thought the engine was a 360, but the VIN states 352, what do you guys think?
I have thought for a second this could actually be a 68. The engine is 360 and I think those were introduced in 68. The hood emblems make me think 67' (no reflectors) but those obviously could have been swapped out. Would love to know for sure (so when I buy my YOM plates =p).

Kenny - it is a manual choke. I will get the VIN number up here tonight for you guys to dissect. Thanks again for all the help so far, much appreciated!
The reason both trucks look almost identical is, your 1967 has a 1968 grille: C8TZ-8200-E .. Anodized Aluminum Grille ~ 1968 F100/350 Custom Cab/Ranger / 1969 F100/350 Custom Cab, except Ranger.
F25 = F250 2WD
Y = 352 2V
R = San Jose CA Assembly Plant.
A73358 = 1967, assembled January 1967.
The tool compartment was an option, did not come with any package. Also sold at the parts counter as a kit.
They look the same, but looks can be deceiving. There are other differences between a 1967 and 1968/72's.
1967: You push the inside door handles forward to lock the doors from the inside. 1968/72's have door lock *****.
1967 only: Door shells, all internal parts except the weatherstrips, division bars, door lock cylinders and glass. Radio, heater, dashboard, firewall, brake/clutch pedals, bracket they suspend from, ignition switch.
Instrument cluster back, inside door & window handles, vent frames, arm rests, master cylinders, P/B boosters, low brake fluid warning light switch, proportioning valves, hood emblems (no yellow reflectors like 1968/72's have).
1967's, 1968's before serial # C56,001 upper side mouldings are 1 1/4" wide / 1968's from serial # C56,001, 1969's, 1970/72 Sport Customs upper side mouldings are 1 1/2" wide.
There are prolly more differences, but this is all I can recall from memory.
Anyone know what those holes below the Camper Special emblem was for? Another emblem?
Original San Jose service sticker on inside door.
