I'm still running on one of my originals with 220k on the clock! I would go with Timken or SKF, Timken being the first choice ofcourse. I took an old ABS sensor, cut the wire and drilled the middle out, then tapped it for a zerk to grease mine.

Yours came with the large o ring and the 4 mounting studs? I got two units at two different Autozone's and neither came with the 4 mounting studs that hold it to the knuckle and the large oring that seals against the inside of the knuckle for the auto hubs.

The ones I got did not come with the internal studs, but they are reusable.

Just picked one up today from AZ and there's no oring or mounting studs.

I do have a question, do you put loctite on the mounting stud when you install them in the hub?

I do not have the automatic hubs anymore so will I really need the o-ring?

That's a good question. I always wondered the same, I am guessing it acts as a dust shield also.

Probably. I just can't picture where exactly this seal goes without actually having it in my hand. Wonder if someone has a link to this o-ring so I can just order them.

Does it boil down too that there is no possible way to grease the main hub bearings then?

Only if you pull the ABS sensor, and grease through there, Marv(SpringerPop) has been doing an annual reminder for a few years, should be soon too, but I greased my 2 weeks ago.

Well someone posted earlier in this thread that pulling that will only grease the needle bearing on the 4x4 axle. Was he mistaken?
