Front leafs

Front leafs
Ok so I have worn out front springs. I don't really have the extra money laying around to put a 2.5 lift on or new front springs. Is there anything wrong with doing the add a leaf on the front to get me down the road till I have the spare money? Or what are some other less expensive ways for a quick fix for a little while. 2000 v10 limited
