Ball joints

I have a 94 F-150 4x2 and the ball joints need replacing. I have removed everything so far that needs to be removed but I can not get the ball joints loose. The upper ball joint did not have a snap ring so I guess it's just pressed in there. The lower one I removed the snap ring but can not get it out till I get the upper one out. I borrowed the ball joint removing tool but I have had no luck with it. What tools do I need. Any help would greatly be appericated. Thanks

Ball joints

You need some WD-40, Castrol Super Clean, SImple Green, and something to pry it off with. That should do it!!

Ball joints

The easiest way to do this is go and get a loaner ball joint press from Autozone. Makes the job much easier. If I remember right the upper has to come off first. Then use the tube spacer to pop off the lower. Good Luck.
