Just got a 6.7 have had 7.3-6.4... seems like a good motor thus far!! just wanted to say hi.
My last run in with a 6.7 was in a dodge, lets just say i was not happy at all!! My last 6.4 was a good motor after i deleted almost everything on it..lol. Is there any big issues with this motor?
Thanks
welcome!.. we haven't seen any reports of regular problems, nor many individual issues.
Most noisy issue at the moment seems to be a small number of High Pressure Fuel Pump failures, which Ford seems not to warranty. Its unclear what the real cause or resolution is/will be. For those denied coverage, its a major expense.. (>$10,000)... but this is still a very small number compared to the number of trucks build & sold over the last 2 model years.
WELCOME, I hope your experience with this truck exceeds that which you got from your last two. The 6.7L Cummins has no relation whatsoever to the one in your new truck, and by most accounts the PSD is a better engine. Of course...this is a Ford truck site and all...
Well the question is why is your bed so long, trying to make up for something?? That Funny looking red thing is (from what Im reading) the POS shocks that came on it...
LOL, Ya in my 2010 I installed a 45 gal tank. But as far as the bed I have 6 trailers ranging from 12'-36' if i need to haul anything more than a beer cooler I got it coverd..
