A short bed dually? Wasn't there a conversation about one of these awhile back? This has to be pretty rare combination.

I just saw that exact same looking truck driving around town the other day here in Phoenix! I didn't know they made short bed 7.3 duallys.
I will say, that add is almost definitely scam. My friend showed me what I remember being the same exact add for that truck in Phoenix just a few days ago. It was a 2002 white short bed crew cab dually for 4k. I'm pretty sure the picture was the same as well so I'd say scam for sure.
It's just a weird coincidence that I saw that truck the next day my friend showed me the add, then it pops up on here!

Yeah I couldn't find the add anymore but I'm sure it was that one. It's just ironic I'd see a superduty white crewcaw shortbed dually 7.3 right after seeing that add.
While I like shortbeds more, I honestly don't think a shortbed dually looks right. I was trying to see why I thought the truck was weird until I realized it was a short bed.

yup, the two strokes can run off engine oil. some of the detroits(i don't remember if it is all of them or not) have injectors that are run off the cam. if an injector lifter sticks in the open position it will constantly feed the cylinder and cause a runaway condition too.
the only way to kill the engine is to cut off air flow at the intake.
i have only experienced one run away detroit.
saw a lot of videos of it, but only personally experienced one.
macks on the other hand, i have had 8 run away from me.
