Yeah, a little early this year. Family reunion starting the 18th down state so only be here for two weeks. The OX? Pulling like a champ! Just a minor oil leak and Clay has a set coming to me. Sure glad the UPS man can find his way into here, he has in the past anyway!

Stopped and saw Darrin on the way, what a guy!!

We made it to Montana. Stopped for a night with Nick aka moosemachine. It was great the girls had a good time.

All is good with the truck. Doing an oil change here and getting the alternator tested because the light flickered briefly after camping for four days. It hasn't done it since but I suspect it is weak and would rather have a fresh spare.

Not sure what to say about egt and boost. I can sit pretty comfy at about 6psi and not go over 1200*. That had me about 55mph up the big hills in southern BC.

I would love to find a 2wd cc dually here to buy. They all seems so rust free in comparison.

x2^^^ My alt light has been on for most of my 3K plus trip. My dash gauge says its charging and my scan gauge says its charging. I wiggle the single little wire and the light goes out. Put some grease on it and its good for awhile. I need to try to tighten up the connection.

Safe travels Nate!

Here in the UP of Michigan I meet a guy Dale Freeman who said that once he had the record quarter mile in a 6.4. Maybe he still does, IDK. He was full of info and was fun to talk to. Said he had 800 hp and 1700 torque, showed me a video of him doing a quarter mile kicking a vet's ***. Said he meet John Woods at a SEMA show in Vegas.

For those of you not on the face, Cassie and I made it to Williston safe and sound. Only problem out of the truck is a mystery coolant leak that only rears its head while I'm pulling heavy.

I'll dig into the issue as soon as I get my company truck lol until then, I'll just keep topping it off

I drove a 6.4 around for a little bit back when it was new. The truck had a lot of get up and go from the factory and I felt that it could be quiet something with a little tweeking. Time had shown them to be less reliable.

I always found my bolt that would come out under the turbo.

I found the bolt on top the transmission. It's all back together. Now it pulls about 16psi before I back out due to egt. Good enough to get back home. I think heading west over the passes is steeper than east so it will get a good work out.
