Dude, seriously, that's not funny.

Ahh, I'm just kidding. I normally love the snow, but this winter has been ridiculous. I think there is about 3' of snow in my back yard. I haven't measured it, but that's my guess. I know I'm only 24 years old but I've never seen snow piled so high. Plus this has been the 6th coldest winter on record in our area. I'm just ticked off that I had to get my '97 out on these salty roads today.

Ya. That's excessive, but it's getting ridiculous here. I'm 23 and I've never seen the rivers this low. The whole state might burn to the ground this summer if we dont get some moisture going on, and I dont see us growing any hay this year... It's also been the coldest winter of my life. I've never had so many single digit days here...

Gorgeous truck Mike .

Gorgeous truck Mike .
I just turned 25 last Thursday, I cant ever remember a winter like this one. I mean its gotten cold before but never stayed cold like this. And yeah Phil, I've never seen snow piled like this either, I've seen pictures. Back in 78-79 I guess there was a real bad winter here in Illinois, but that was long before my time.

And yes very nice truck Mike!

Went on a service call this morning to start a 6.0 that had been sitting outside in this stuff since last Thursday. The owner just couldn't seem to understand why his Texas truck with no block heater wouldn't fire up this morning in -10. It wasn't even turning over fast enough to fire the injectors. My poor ranger wasn't much help to it, especialy cause I think the battery in that is on borrowed time. I mean come on its only almost 10 years old what could possibly go wrong with that? I'm going to get new batts for my big truck and then use the old ones (they are only 2 years old and still good), one in the Lincoln so I can get rid of it, and the other in the Ranger. Looking at some AGM batteries since I'm getting ready to do a major sound system upgrade.

Stay warm guys.

Thomas, I think all the 6.0l's were equipped with a block heater, they just didn't put cords on all of them.

I'll have to tell him that, thanks Rick! Cause that was the issue, couldn't find the cord.

CA needs to just bite the bullet and build a massive desalinization plant on the coast.

There has been some form of drought for 30+years. it's just worse than ever now.

everyone talks about how bad this winter is because they got soft with the easy winters over the past 10 years.
i remember 30 foot drifts, that stayed around for months back in the early 60's, 10 foot drifts for months in the early 70's, 3 18 inch storms 2 days apart in 78, snowing for 4 days straight with over 30 inches total from the storm in the 80's, a 48 inch storm over 2 days back in 96,and plowing for 5 days straight with 48 inches of snow in 01.

Did you finnaly get it back together Mike? Since the temp has gotten down below freezing a couple times this winter, 15° and up really doesnt seem to bad. And at least were im at, when it does snow, its not much.

I got a chance to try out my 4x4 today! A buddy was stuck in some deep snow, his plow dug in and he couldn't get out. Worked like a charm! Didn't even feel like it wanted to get stuck. Nice and smooth operation (better be after all the work I put into it!) I promptly put it back in the garage to get all the snow off of it. Had to try it some time right?

That was a good test for it for sure. Its always nice to know it is ready to go when you need it. I had to work on the welding truck today its got the stock fuel system on it and had the line bust that runs from the fpr to the driver side head. Made a new line and got it put on today. I needs e fuel one day.
