Nope, not that bad Glenn! How the heck did you manage to do that?!

Just doing all front axle seals, ball joints, and hub assemblies on the SD. Once all that is done, it needs a power steering pump, and I think I have a boost leak to find and fix. Its been a year since I've had it on the road, which reminds me, I also have a brake issue to sort out.

In other news, I bought this on Saturday. Either $500 to ship it home, or a 7-8 hour drive... decisions, decisions.

What's you plan on your truck? Nice avatar btw!

Believe it or not that's a boy
He has never had a hair cut in 4 years.
Pretty hair, but too much. He can hardly play. His hair is past his waist.

IDK. My son is an idiot.
This coming from an old man with hair to the middle of his back.LOL

Perfect, had a ex who lived in Marlboro. Maybe she should join you... I don't see too many 7.3 on the road around here. I'm in Hillsborough, near New Brunswick

you don't see many 7.3's in Hillsborough because the noise of the engine scares the snowflakes that live there.

used to love that area when duke farms was still in operation 30 years ago....
then all the snowflakes moved there and turned into a restricted zone instead of farmland.

That's where my 92 went. I'll get him to start posting. He's talking about a 4" straight pipe for it.
IDI with aftermarket turbo and a 4" pipe ought to bark pretty loud up there for the snowflakes...…….

IDK Phil, just blew a hole in the piston and it got sucked out the exhaust valve taking out the turbo too. Now I have a Jasper engine, runs good so far. Sounds like the SD will survive, do you still have the OBS?

I sure do! I need to get the SD rolling because we are going to sell the wife's car and get a freaking minivan. She's pregnant again, so that will be 3 kiddos for us. Also 3 kids in the back seat of an OBS extended cab isn't going to work too well. The OBS will be parked a lot in the near future, which is good I guess.

I just can't believe how much $$$ its taking to get this front axle freshened up. Should have just sold it, and got a different truck. The FLAPS headache is reason enough. I'm getting impatient in my old age. lol.

Minivan!?!?!?
Forget that! Sell the SD and get a 7.3 Excursion!
I wish I had done that; instead I settled for an Expedition. Way better than a minivan, but no 7.3 Excursion.
