New steering thread
Work on rescue ranger continues. Steering was terrible I replaced all the tierods with new moog components,installed new radius arm bushings then took it to be aligned, bad news the ball joints were shot. Good news is the shop i took it to is new in town and short of business. They told me if there was anything else i wanted done they would do it while we had it apart. I went and bought new bearings, seals.bushings and ujoints for the front end. I had already bought new warn hubs and brake pads. After parts they charged me 300 labor to install it all and line it up. They checked the steering box and found it to be within spec. End result this truck drives like new

Glad to hear the work paid off. Looks like you found a friendly new business as well. Always nice to get in when they are just starting out. They feel the need to do right by you if only to ensure you go on to tell others about the experience. Best kind of advertising there is.
