transmission swap
Does anyone make a swap kit to put a 429 in my 68 f100 ? I would like to use the C6 trans. that is in the truck now if possible. Anyother suggestions on this swap would be very helpful. This is my first try at rebuilding and its not going well but I'm learning a lot its just very costly.

The C6 in your truck won't bolt up, you need a C6 off of a 429/460.

The 351M and 400 bolt pattern is the same as the 429/460 with one exception. Ford made a 400 in one year that used the smaller block bolt pattern. The 351W and 351C use the same pattern as the 302.
