Although the GT40 and the original Shelby were good at racing in their day, the names Ford / GM products / Mopar products are none that I associate with any type of exotic car - those are reserved for Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bugatti, etc. Not to say that the Corvette / GT500 etc aren't fascinating machines, they are more of the low-end type of performance car, not the exotic product of serious craftsmanship...
