Installing Brake Controller in 03 Explorer

Hi There,
I am installing a trailer brake controller in my 03 explorer. I need to route the cable from the receptacle behind the glove compartment to the controller which is on the driver's side under the dash. Problem is, I can't find a way through behind the console - it looks totally full.

Anyone done this before?
