That center console is pretty cool also. Looks like a simple enough design. Just needs a couple of drink holders. The back side of it could easily house a 10"-12" LCD. Hhhmmm. Don't know that I would bother relocating the factory stereo. Looks like a good spot for the Carputer.
When i was searching for an excursionlast year i came across some military grade armoured excursions and the most expensive was an 05 limited diesel with only several thousand kilometers on it. Even that was only $70,000 and more realistic. Ive seen 05 limited diesels in the 100,000 km or lower range sell for over $30,000 cdn so that seems pretty reasonable. Then just limo it yourself! what these people expect is outrageous
Becker darn near did a frame-off on that thing. Did you look through all the pictures? I mean it was used to transport the King of Jordan for crying out loud. This is what private security firms transport VIPs in through downtown Kabul. It is armor rated to the second highest possible level. The armoring alone is worth $100,000. Becker is the best at it, and they get govt contracts for it. With all the weight added, everything has to be modified; engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, tires, wheels, everything. And that is the best looking limo conversion that I have seen on any of these ghetto excursion limos. Those who are in the market for armored vehicles arent worried about getting a good deal, they are worried about their life or that of whom they transport. You gotta pay for the best. And its got 5000 miles on it. And its all documented?!?!
And heres another newsflash, $50-$60k wont get you a 2012 Suburban LTZ from your local Chevy dealer!
Considering it cost $200k+ to build, I think $145k is a great price. It'll sell.
