I don't think fuel delivery is the issue, for the romps and surge, as far as the pump is concerned. I had similar problems that were solved with live tuning.
I feel the Walbro should be more than adequate to provide the fuel you need.
Where are you taking your fuel pressure reading from?
I am using the Walbro pump. The reading is coming from passinger side/bottom of the stock filter (post filter).
My live tuning is May 4th,I am just wanting to make sure all is ready this time. I was at Jodys 3 weeks ago and ended up with an injector issue so he couldnt tune it then..I believe you are correct in regards to romps and surgeing.

Actually, one in the driver's side front and passenger side rear. The check valve is part of (inside) the fitting the steel line connect to.

Every RR kit I have seen requires you to remove them so I don't think any bad would happen.

Glad to hear the regulated return worked. What do you think the problem was? Were the check valves stuck?

Chet

IDK, at first the fuel pressure would drop from 70 psi to 50 psi @wot,now 70psi normal and 65 @wot,could have been a issue somewhere.I know the isspro fuel pressure guage never held steady now it does..
