5speed conversion
have a 83 f350 with a 6.9 i am putting a 351w in it. I am pretty sure the old 4speed from the 6.9 will not work. I have a 5speed for a 351w from 89 truck both are 4wd trans. will this go in easy or do i need to "modify"

Should be fairly easy. You will have to change your hydraulic clutch system around a little bit, I believe your diesel has a external slave cylinder while the 351w I think is internal type slave. Check this out, and get the correct lines and stuff, the clutch master should still work.
