2005 SD 4x4 Diesel Transmission leak out vent

Hi all, new member thanks for your time.

I have a 2005 F250 Diesel 4x4.
Trans is leaking out the vent...
The truck drives fine.
I have checked fluid levels ok. (not overfull)
I have changed the trans filter near the cooler. (it was dirty, but not blocked)
I have check all lines for kinks. (none)
I have removed the pan to look for bits of metal... (only found small amount of sludge/fine debris on the magnet.)

My heavy truck dealer's only option after my work would be to open up/rebuild.

Any additional ideas I might try would be appreciated!
Thanks
Steve

Lower the trans fluid level a bit. The only times I've seen fluid come out of the vent was from overfilling or water in the trans.

Thanks Mark.
The overfill issue has been addressed...and double checked.
And...I just drained and filled to the middle of the fill zone...
Is that too high??

The middle should be fine.

Just to make sure you are checking it hot?
When I bought my F250 it was low on ATF by 5 quarts, still running fine. Maybe you can go below min?
