I read on here that someone had a problem with the adapters not working. I checked the prices at ford for parts 22 and 25 bucks, one for each side. Has anyone else read that too?

It might be in reference to the heat. Mine had extra wiring and relay added for the heat and it is an '02.

There are 3 bolts holding on mirror. Well the 3 bolts are off. How much I got to tug on it?? It's not wanting to let go lol

Never mind, there were 4 bolts. Now I have to run a wire for my turn signals right? I have the 05 style lights

If you didn't have turns in your paddle mirrors you will have to run some wire. Not a big deal though.

Then you should be set up to plug and play. I could be wrong here, but that's almost unheard of.
Maybe Toreador_Diesel or one of the other guys that made the switch can chime in. Be patient grass hopper.

yes i had to splice the existing turn/marker/heat wiring into the new mirror.

So you tied into the black, brown and Lt green and passenger white?? I have the 05 mirrors but I am guessing they should all be the same

Someone else posted the correct colors for an 05 on fte, because they are different than the 2010 super duty mirrors. You have super search to find it, good luck!
