So enjoy the toys as long as it don't affect the family and the roof over your there head:

If a guy is not married and never has to worry about the roof over head, then let your better judgment and check book be your guide..

All valid points. Yeah, the TIG would be a toy.. a nice toy. Doing one or the other doesn't affect family - only me. Coin flip?!...

On the LBB, the grill shell sitting on my living room floor finally vacated! It's starting to come together... I was gonna install the gravel shield but I appear to be short of hardware... there was none left in the usual places. Hmm.... Tomorrow is another day.

Apply a strong chain and use the power of mechanical persuasion!...

Yes, the 5/8-inch hole is centered. The hole locates the saddle over the leaf spring pin.

Crap!

'Been tightening all the suspension and steering hardware this morning. It was totally toed in. After a few rounds with the adjusting sleeve, jacking up one side then the other, and rolling it backward and forward... it is toe'ed out a hair... That's a good thing because the tie rods are bottomed out in the adjusting sleeve. Whew.... it'll get dialed in later.

'Got to bench bleeding the MC (rebuilt by me) and leaks it like a sieve from the piston bore hole. I honed that mother out until the pits were gone and may have exceeded the bore's limit. I was thinking the seals would swell up enough to compensate but I guess not.

Btw, if pirating parts from different donors record the VIN and data plate info. The MC and booster came came from F15YRW32435... a 75 F150.

I was eyeballing Wilwood's MC but have since snapped out of it... Off to Autozone later today for an OEM replacement.

... And the funds have been deposited into the fund for an F355 . No, that's not an F-series truck.

Easy Jeff......you can't go there.
If this was a Dodge forum they would be complaining there wasn't a Chrysler product in that video.

And if there was it would have been on the side of the road with its hood up and smoke billowing from its transmission and tail pipes.

I **might** have to settle for one in red. I already thought of a personalized license plate... 4REGAZM. Ya think that'll get a pass from the State reviewer? The other one is 4REU4EA.

LBB... picked up a pair of U-joints and ordered a master cylinder. AZO (that's the stock ticker for Autozone) is getting it delivered from west county so I'm waiting for a phone call from them to pick it up.

I had a helluva time removing one U-joint. Dang caps wouldn't let go from the yoke. Hecka tight! Persistence paid off and now one end of the driveshaft is dunked in kerosene to soften the combination of years and years worth of dirt and grease.
