Replace the valve assembly. The complete water separator is quit expensive if you go the complete route. Most techs want to do the complete assembly for warranty reasons. It is the safest route. Maybe you can find one by shopping the net?

Welcome to FTE. You need to buy this Replacement O-rings for Ford Diesel Engines
and then follow the instructions that come with it. That or pay a mechanic a couple of hundred dollars for the few dollars in parts needed.
