I got a 1987 Ford E150 that just won't start. 5 years ago I had the same problem and I replaced the E.C.C. relay. That fixed 'er right up. Same symptoms now, but after replacing the relay again.....no magic bullet!
The inertia switch is still in it's pressed in state, so no problem there. I hooked up a continuity tester to the wire harness that feeds the frame mounted fuel pump. I figured when I turned the key, I would get a momentary ligt up of the tester, indicating power to the pump. Stinkin' thing didn't light up. Now I'm lost. Oh yeah, I got spark. Any help would be appreciated.
