Anyone know the specs on the sport model 2003 F150 XL? been driving my dad's truck lately and it seems pretty quick for a pickup. wondering what makes it a 'Sport' model besides the body color bumpers grill and mirrors. It's the 4.2l V6 auto

 

It's really just a cosmetic package, no additional performance parts were installed. I had a 2001? Black one which had the decal "Sport" on the rear quarters. Mine also came with the 10 spoke 17" wheels, but I think that was an extra cost option, not part of the package. Mine also had the captain bucket seats, console, and 4.2 engine.

 

well that's kinda disappointing, but at the same time reassuring that the F150s that year had the pick up and handling that this thing does
