the PUPPY thread

Look into their eyes, and you can see so much special stuff!

Puppies are spirit guides that come here to teach us how to love the right way...

And they stay with us

(They are also here to help us when there isn't anyone else)

Puppies teach love itself

My youngest pooch is still a pup, but she's an absolute monster. Going on about 11 months, 140 pounds of muscle and energy.

Picture isn't a good representation of how big she is. I'm 5'9 and standing up straight, her face is level with mine.

ROFL - I bet it found it's own way in there, but nah.....

Fuzzy ones....

You feel something special everytime you see one

Why?

What does that mean?

Are they here to teach us something?

Could puppies and kittens be "spirit helpers" teaching us how to be?

When you look into their eyes and see how much they love you - what should you do?

How do you interpret that?

Puppies teach us about pure love

When they grow up, they teach us about 'Sticking with it'

Did any puppy you ever had quit loving you?

You gotta look at that...

And they are JUST like that.

PUPPY IS FOREVER!

Alright haha.

Here's my woman and my youngest, Duchess, at 7 months old, Cane Corso.

Here's myself and Duchess on the same day.

And three of Duchess now. (Don't mind the mess in the background, we were cleaning out a storage building and had a mess going on.)

This is Houdini, my pit mix. Here he was about 6 months old.

Here he is now, looking not very happy because he broke his lead and thought he was free for a bit. Notice the shabby way I had to hook up a temp lead whole I found a chain.

And this is my house dog, Gizmo.

And here, he somehow got my hoodie off the couch and managed to put it on.

Those are my pups. I pretty much consider them my kids. They get more attention than basically anything else in my life.

here are mine. The first is my black lab twilight, we adopted her from the pound at 2 years old and is about the best I have ever known.

Here is twilight and summit my yellow lab, we had to put Summit down last fall, she was a complete sweatheart of a dog and I miss her, so does twilight. Got her as a puppy.

And this one has all three, the malamute is Arctic, we adopted him from some friends that could afford to keep him anymore. He is 9 now and a big pansy for the most part, funny our homeowners insurance said malamutes are in the top 5 most dangerous dogs. Not ours the girl labs run the roost around here. It has taken almost 2 years to get him to warm up to us so we think is was not treated very well when he was younger.

One more of Arctic in his element, he just loves winter.

this last one is of Twilight and Moxie, Moxie is an 8 year old chocolate lab we are fostering. Oh who am I kidding she is never leaving plus she is a great new playmate for Twilight and she is such a good dog.

I would also add that all of my pups have 2 plus acres of fenced in dogie heaven, they have a dog door that lets them out or in as they please and in 3 years I have not had an escapee. Even a few times when the gate was left open they stayed in their kingdom, I think they know they have it pretty good.

Post some new pics up! Pits are one of my favorite breeds. The only thing I don't like about them is the INSANE amount of energy they have. They are like the Energizer bunny.

Here's a new one of my Cane Corso! Complete with drool haha
