pushing antifreeze out

never posted here before, got a 95 fi50, 302 and automatic. when you let it sit and idle everything is ok. you can drive about 2 miles and it is pushing antifreeze into the overflow bottle and on out. doesnt seem to get hot. only had the truck 3 days, changed the radiator and t stat. gave it a good flushing. now it seems to be worse. also changed the rad cap. any body got anymore ideas?

There could be a blockage in the block (no pun intended). Or the water pump could be shot. Thats a cheap, albeit involved, fix.

I had an Escort that did that too, it was a cracked head.:-(

I agree with Spectre. I would do a cylinder leakage test and see if you have bubbles in the radiator. I a 3.8 in aCougar it did the same thing. Turned out to be a blown head gasket.
