alignment cost
just put new rubber on the beast, shop did a courtesey alignment, and indicated i need it along with a caster shim/adjustor. that doenst surprise me as that has been the case with the last 3 trucks i have had. What surprised me this time was the cost. 120 for the alignment and then 40 for the caster shim and 80 to install it.
anybody have any info on prices you have paid for alignments?

$69.99 here for the alignment. Adjustable caster pieces I ordered on the net but there was no additional charge to install/set the caster. Less than $80 out the door.
I'd check around and get an estimate somewhere else...

my 6.4 is a crew cab long bed (172" wheelbase) and just about every shop i asked about alignment said their equipment was insufficient for a truck of that size. I went to the dealer and he charged me $60.00 and i had no complaints.
