6.0 swap done!
Well 4 days later and i'm done! HG went again in my 04 so i picked up a 07 motor with all the goodies. Things went smooth for the most part. Was my first time doing a diesel swap and I learned a lot.
Wiring harness swapped right over, so did the intake. The only snag was i had to get a lower rad hose from a 07. The outlet comes straight off the motor as the 04 has more of a 45 degree angle. Other than that it was straight forward. Can't believe how much smoother this motor sounds. The 04 was in rough shape.
Anyways thought i would share my success. Such a great feeling to hear the old girl purrrr again

Thanks fellas! It was a donor with 100,000 km. It has studs, egr delete, new oil cooler, decked heads oem gaskets, blue spring mod. So fortunately i have a good jump start on bulletproofing. I just hope to avoid the disaster of my last head job.
