brake question.
well im here again with more trouble.today i noticed that i had some fluid leaking.i didnt check to see from where yet becuase i was running around.while driving i hit the brakes and the brake peddle started rumbling and made a deep grinding noise.this happened 2 different times today.i have stated this before.i bought her about a week and a half ago.so im not sure what the previous owner really did(93 xlt).im also hearing a wierd rattling form the front wheels when driving.its like a real faint squeek.i just want to make sure its something that isnt major.also the abs light is on all the time.is it easy to change the brake pads on my own?thanks in advance.

Sounds like you've worn the brake pads completely down. Easy to replace the pads, not so easy to do the rotors. The pads probably won't explain the leak you are referring to unless a caliper or line is leaking.

brake question.
well the leak i discovered was the steering fluid.the cap was not put on correctly and the fluid leaked upwards.i havent had any leaks since then.i found some pads for 29.99 at struass.i know i could find them for cheaper somewhere else.is there any brand in particular?
