92 Navajo overheating
My 92 Navajo is overheating. It has a 5 sp MT, A/C (converted to R134A about 2 years ago) and 159,000 miles. My repairs are as follows: cleaned MAF sensor, flushed cooling system, replaced spark plugs, intake manifold gaskets, radiator, water pump, heater core, thermostat (3 times, the last time with a ford part, weep hole at 12 o'clock), fan, fan clutch, temp sending unit, blew water thru the fins of the a/c cooler. It doesn't appear to lose any coolant. Oil is not contaminated. 3 years ago the needle on the temp gauge rarely got above the 1/3 point. Now it runs at the halfway point and rises up to the 7/8 point if it's at all warm out or under any kind of load,( like pulling my 16' Lund Boat). Yesterday it was 65 degrees here in the NW and when I shut the engine off after backing my boat into the driveway coolant was boiling out of the overflow container. If anyone has any ideas on
something else I can try please let me know. I'm desperate!
