They didn't hold for me @ 80psi. Never ever had one back out on 35 or 50psi tires. But they did on my SD tires. Maybe just my bad luck, but I pull a fiver with this truck and need utmost confidence in my tires.
I have 10 oz's of dyna beads in each of my 35's ,super smooth , no shakes or vibrations , best of all no weights on the wheels, they have worked great for me , I put them in the tires when I bought them 3/2008 , roughly 20k on the tires , I only drive the truck 5k a year , Craig.
where I live i have about a mile of nasty gravel to drive when it rains the inside of the wheels always gets that fine gravel and kinda self balances the wheels but if you don't drive till it dries you are scraping wheels this would be really good for that

yes.. and these beads will handle all the dynamic adjustment for your mud..
I am definately gonna go the super cheap way. i priced the airsoft bee bees at wal mart and for 12 oz per tire i'm lookin at twenty bucks for all for tires. too cheap not to try it. i will update when i do it. looks like two or three weeks though. I need to change out the ring and pinion first.
kaj I am going to use airsoft pellets or bbs search walmart airsoft and you will see they sell these things in quantities of 5000 or 10000. they each weigh about .12 grams so you have to figure out how many you will need per tire. they are not intended for tire balancing but have heard and one guy on here said they work. 8 to ten bucks a canister of them. i would guess you need about 2000 pellets or bbs per tire. I think there might be some small enough to route through the valve stem... I am not sure what size I used, but they way too big to run down the stem. You'll have to break the bead to get these in. There are a couple of different ways to reset the bead in your driveway... a quick internet search should provide you the info.
I had a problem balancing my 285/65/18 Cooper AT/3's without having 6-8 oz of weight hanging off the wheel. The NYTECH guy, hes my tire supply guy, and we got to talking. He gave me a set of beads to try, 4-6.5 oz bags. I drove the truck the other day and all the shimmys are gone. I will never balance with wheel weights again when I sell over sized tires.
I sy give them a try, if you have a local distributor I thing its about 1.00 per oz. The come with a spring loaded valve stem so the beads wont come out if you air down, and a chrome valve cap engraved with letters so tire shops know the beads are in there.
I have the soft beads, they are tiny and sizes vary. So yes I am happy.
The dynabeads can be installed thru the valve stem.

Yeah, but they cost more than my wife's wedding ring. I like the other stuff that suppose to stick to the tire in the right place, but the site is very mysterious how it works. Is it static electricity holding the granules, or some kind of gluish fluid?
Would I know about those $3 pellets before new tires installation I would be all for it.
Off to the golf club. They don't need to be new?
