Anybody used the Castrol 15-40 diesel oil? My local wally world had a clerance on it and i got the last 4 gallons for like 6.50$ each! I dont think the other stores had it, just a fluke? It will probablly sit in my garage for a year because i just changed my oil. But the price was too good to pass up. Joe

There have been several Castrol 15W-40 products sold in North America. Is it GTX Diesel Tection Extra, or something else? Tection Extra meets all the latest standards, so I wouldnt hesitate to use it. Ive used GTX diesel in older gasoline engines with flat tappets, but that does not stress the oil like a turbodiesel.
