I have a 2001 V6 Escape that I bought back in November. Pretty decent truck, I have to admit.
I'm wondering though, why does my Cobra radar detector sense a laser signal almost everytime I step on the accelerator from a dead stop? Sometimes it even goes off when cruising.
I've used this thing in many other cars (granted they were all older) and the Laser band has never gone off before. Can someone enlighten me on this? Does the engine emmit some kind of laser signal?
