Between working and the home remodel, haven't been able to do much. Yard is a wreck. Gonna be a lot of fun when the remodel is done.

Youngest Daughters wedding....heading south of Oklahoma City, Noble OK to be exact.

As of Sunday, the wife informs me we may fly out after all. Thats what I wanted to do from the start. She is realizing 20 hrs in the truck with a 2 yr old may be a bit much...

We will see what the plans turn into in the next week or so.

That's cool. Congrats on the upcoming wedding. lol. Yep 20hrs in a truck with a 2yr old would be......an adventure. When my boys were that age we chose flights also.

FYI, it's almost Tornado season, bring yer camera. In fact we've got wicked weather coming in late today, Saturday and Sunday.

If ya get any time to site see i'd recommend the following:

POPs Soda stand on Route 66.
POPS: Home

There's also the old round red barn:
Arcadia Round Barn--Route 66: A Discover Our Shared Heritage Travel Itinerary

And you wont be too far from Lake Thunderbird State Park.

Best of luck on the trip and wedding, and enjoy yer stay.

Ya'll come back now, ya hear.

thanks for the suggestions. Ya we know about the tornado season. My wife and I had to go to South Carolina on Thursday. Upon returning Friday evening, we hear on radio tornado hit town of Norman OK. Our daughter lives in Noble to south. She panics and call her but everyone is fine. Her future father in law lives in Norman but their family is ok.

We just decided to fly. Booked the flight before getting on forum....so no road trip. ON one hand I was looking forward to drive but then I wasnt if you know what I mean..
