Good news story. Ok not a heavy repair but made a difference. Last summer after pulling the trailer 300km the truck started to make a exhaust tick at idle cold.
Took to dealer and RH exhaust manifold was cracked and had broken exhaust studs.
They fixed that up and it has been running better than ever. Fuel economy is at 10.8L/100 at a granny speed of 100km/h. That is just about 22mpg at 60mph. I’m very ok with that. Towing power is good. Plugs changed every 80k km along with all fluids.
2012 f150 FX4 screw currently at 180,000km. Newer trucks are way too much $ right now. I’m keeping this one for a while yet
