Tow dolly?
Hey guys, I need some help. I have to haul my brother in law's '57 Ford about 250 miles and don't know exactly how to do it. Do ya'll know if it will fit on a UHaul car dolly? Uhaul says that is has to be 72 inches or less in width at the outside of the tires, and 75 inches or less in width at the outside of the body panels. I'm just wondering if anyone has the specs that they could share. It would be a big help. I'm hoping that a car dolly would fit, because the closest UHaul to me that has the trailers is about a 50 mile trip each way in the opposite direction from where I'm going. Thanks for the help guys.

Just measured my '59 for ya('57-'60 are the same). It is EXACTLY 72" wide (outside of tire to outside of tire), BUT... I have wider tires than normal (255's). So, you should be clear for the U-Haul trailer so long as the front tires on your '57 aren't too much wider than mine.
