Been pretty dead in here today, so I guess everyone has been out enjoying the great weather.

 

My project for today:

 

Hey Andrew. The pic came out really dark, not really sure.

FTE has been acting up for me mostly all weekend. Lost of connection errors. Hopefully it will be remedied for the next week. Got lots of posting to catch up on!

Yep, those are the hidden strobes in the tails. I just had them sitting on the tailgate. It got dark too fast for the me to zip tie all the wiring down so I was just testing them. I guess I installed them right, they didn't blow. I finally have something hooked up to the upfitter switches now!

 

You using a 10 amp or a 20 amp switch? Are they LED? did you have to change your flasher?

 

Evening everyone. Back in NC.

 

No LED, just standard strobe. It is a Wolo 120W kit. I know you are going to think I am crazy, but I had to drill a hole in the side of the tail lights. Will have to do the same to the front turn signals. Put it on the 10 amp upfitter #3.

 

I bet you puckered up drilling a hole in your oem light! Bet that replacement is $600!

Thank ya. Yep, the set I bought is actually a 6 pc set (2 headlight, 2 turn sigs, 2 tails). That was my plan, but it is illegal to have strobe or wig wag headlights in VA unless you are po-po. But you can have them in the turn signals on the front, since the lens is clear anyway, it is pretty much the same but legal. I think I'm just going to do the 4 and see how it looks. I may just find some other lights that I can put the other two strobes into and rig them in the grill. We shall see.
