Just texted Dave. Said he's sitting at the BP station near where he broke down and waiting for a tow. He got it to fire up once but it won't crank again. Thinks Charlie might be right.

 

The one that replaces the upper. Yeah, they are slick. But they are pricey!

Thats awful. I hope it is something really easy like the module Charlie mentioned or a clogged fuel filter.

I'm out here. Id give the i am legend speech but I'm at the worlds only BP that doesn't have wireless. Truck fired right up and idled like a champ. Well enough that mom lost her frown. Drove down the gravel access road to the Bp. Took 2gal of gas, same thing. Battery is reading 11.8 which I'll take after an afternoon of cranking.

Gave my new friend Aknuud the heads up, bought a 40 and a sammich. Waiting for AAA and exporIng the truck haha

 

Hopefully you can swing by Advance or something in the morning and get that module Charlie was talking about. Take the battery too.

Yep. One of the fellows that rolled out here with me has a roomate that manages an AA. Already got one located.

Just noticed a spare rim with something that used to be a tire on it in the bed. Rim has two weights about 5in long on it hahahah

 

Dam dave, I have a whole drawer full of those here. I'll bring you one as a spare to the gtg. Glad your mom is happier.
