How goes it.

 

I've found that if you don't have the expectation of A/C, you don't get quite as uncomfortable. I can sit in my truck, in traffic, when the temp is 110 is be fine, but if I'm in Mom's car and she doesn't have the A/C on when it's 80 out, I'm burning up.

Haha. I sweat watching the winter olympics. Especially if I'll be hauling around in this thing working like a Russian prison all day it'd be nice to cool off. Only owned one car that had AC work haha.

Stumbled onto standalone kits for trucks your age, 4-800, hopefully I'll find something for the 80's. If nothing else I figure an 87-96 setup would work with some rigging.

Dave, get the truck all squared away then get the AC done, plenty of parts out their to put it together. I thought the "trooper" was an Isuzu Trooper and you also had the Benz. Didn't know they were one in the same. I got confused. It happens at my age.

 

Haha nah I like my crappy vehicles with what used to be class. Never had an old trooper (yet)

And yea, this isn't my first old heap to come limping home . Already bought a thermo housing and coolant. Then inspection. Then I should know what kind of mileage I'm getting. After that I figure plugs, filters, wipers, and finally a good cleaning.

First 'mod' I do will be probably be a bed step later on this summer. I've already got 4 trees I cut down to take to the dump haha.

Kinda chilly today. 90 yesterday and 60 today. Pretty dramatic drop.

Yeah me too. I wore shorts today and felt cold all day. Pulled the heater out of storage at work, now my back feels achy. Gonna take a theraflu and hot shower and hope my yucky feeling passes.

 

Tim Im not only trying to fight off a food coma right now but I have been up since 0430 hrs and only had about 3 hrs of sleep.

 

Tim, a hot tub would be nice on yer back too

 

You said it G. The one thing I've always wanted when I become a big boy is a hot tub.
