Perpetual motion, perfect!
Maybe you have to add a retro braking charging system as well?
Then you could have power slowing down too...

I should be able to charge my 98 deep cycle batteries on my drive to work.
I have been looking at various types of wind generators. I cannot decide between horizontal axis or vertical access.
Vertical seems like it would fit better beneath the low bridge to my house but the horizontal access generates more power per mile.
With all that extra weight you might need to get some new springs which could possibly lift your van, therefore you would need to get bigger tires which also would result in needing lower gears. $$$

But I'm within 200# of my front axle gross weight rating.
I suppose I could get Rockwell axles put on it, although I am not sure if Ford would still honor my warranty if I did that. Perhaps they would if I had it put in at the Ford dealership.
If you lift it to high you might have trouble getting your tool box in and out of the van, perhaps you could look into a lift gate like seen on box trucks? Also, you may want to consider a winch so you can more easily load disabled quads and other items into the back of your E-series van.

Miles, I have already devised a system to load my quad.
I shared how to do so with pictures here. Perhaps I can get Aaron to fix my broken quad for me though.
Do you think the turbo encapulators stuck to the side of my van would have an adverse affect on the wind flow over my turbine?
