How to test for leaking injector?

You could pull the fuel rail and just watch and see.
If cylinders are filling with gas while the truck sits then you may have a leaking injector.
If it takes forever cranking and a HUGE cloud of black smoke comes out when it finally starts then you may have a leaking injector.

You may have a bad check valve in the high pressure pump on the frame or a leaking fuel pressure regulator going back to the tank then.
Any reason as to why you asked about a leaking injector?

I was thinking possibly the injector was leaking causing the system to lose pressure after i shut the truck off.And i thought that could be causing the truck to have to cran longer because it had to build up pressure in the system. I could be wrong though.
