So the passenger side exhaust manifold is rusted through in a place. Can see a pic in my project pictures. When I was pulling the exhaust manifold bolts one side was relatively dry, the other side actually leaked oil when I pulled the bolts. Is this pretty normal for these IDI? Is this something I shoudl be worried about?.

 

Well I got the 6.9 into the frame and it is all mounted up and solid. Everything seems to work well. Ran into a snag it looks like the bellhousing is basically sitting against the cab. Going to have to lift the cab a little was thinking an inch or two is all tha tis needed but if I want to turbo later may as well go 3. I will get some pictures posted of the install etc soon. Sorry its been a long few months and trying to get time to work on this project can be a pain. Will try to update more frequently.
