Part swapping question

Ok, I know what year ranges will fit the truck I have (1995 F150 XLT) but thats not a problem, what I want to know (after some checking, and test fitting and some "well that isn't working" moments at the junk yard) will any light assy from the F250/350+ (92-96/97) fit on the F150?

When I was messing in the parts yard I tested one set of headlights from a F250 on to a F150 and they wouldn't fit properly, they were close...so is this a no they won't or was that just more likely a fluke thing where the part(s) may have been bent/damaged? (truck I pulled off was rear impact while the test truck looked to have had a bent front end that may have been rebent back to "normal" so I assume it was a bent frame related issue on this...anyways thanks for the help!

They should be a direct swap Jaime, if you doubt it try a search for replacements, you'll see they advertise them for all the models.

Yep. 92-96 F150/250/350 and 97 F250/F350 headlight assemblies are all identical.

$32? For the pair??
That seems awfully cheap.....

If you buy, let us know if they're any good.

Some people around the forums here have went with those and they say that they are better at night than the stock Ford grid pattern headlights. Plus, they look better.

I would get them if I were you.

they're cheap.but they look good when installed, and your going to be floored at how much brighter the lights are at night.way safer than old yellowed plastic housings.
i went with depo.but they're just twianees cheapies too.
rather than straining your eyes and hunting for the road, you'll actually enjoy driving at night with white, clear, safe beams!

The only thing I feel I should add is to make sure they are adjusted so you aren't blinding every oncoming driver.
Obviously they aren't approved for road use here in the U.S.

Yup I know that ard, thanks for the info, I will be sure to aim them properly before going out on the road at night as well, don't worry about that, safety is #1 to me and I would never want to intentionally do any thing that might compromise anyones safety!! not good...

anyways I did order them and I got them last friday (yay) 4/6/2012 so once the corners arrive I will be putting these things on and see how it all looks, and admire the truck more again thanks every one for all the valuable info I have learnd and gotten to help me fix and work on my truck!!
