OT: Work Platforms on Sale at HD

I remember a few people mentioning these last fall. Home Depot has them on sale for 1/2 price ($22) technically starting tomorrow for about a week, but my local store had already tagged the shelf at $22 and it rung up as such, so I bought two this evening. Great for standing on while working on the truck engine. Plus, it worked great this evening when I was painting the laundry room (we have 9' ceilings).

Thanks for the heads-up, but I picked up some a couple years ago when they were on sale for 15 bucks.

And with one still in the plastic wrap, eh?

As often as these things go on half-price sale, I suspect that's what they really should sell for.

Mine cost me $22 last year, and it isn't getting used as much as it should!

Yep. I still have Lisa's.

One of the three pictured only has three legs now. OOPS.

Another one of my misadventures turning something into a parts piece.

What is the approximate height of the platform? Recovering from a compound fractured leg, I'll need a few of these when I am back in the game.

The Werner is labelled 20 inches, but true measurement is close to 20 3/4".

Hope that leg heals quickly.

Thanks my friend...It has been a month and I still have another month before I can begin to put weight on the leg at all. You don't realize what you can't do without a good set of legs under you. So, I stumble around the house on crutches or cruise a few feet in a wheel chair...it is a pathetic sight !

I have one of those and find it is too high for me generally.
I use this one from Harbor Freight. It is shorter, at right around 13 inches high

I use this one daily, it is at the back of my truck as it is one of the first things I grab on the job. It works great for when I am working on my truck too. Yes there are times I wish it was a tad larger on the surface area, but since I have the other one, I use them both at times to step from one to the other.

with the 20% off coupons they have all the time it is a great deal.
