Do you name your trucks?

For those that do, I need help in naming this beast. She's a 450 with a 12' stake dump.

Seriously, how are you actuating the lift? Are you using the PTO? Awesome truck.

"Stinger"

Like a scorpion stinger. You can say "load the stinger" or "bring the stinger" or "wash the stinger" or "watch the stinger".

Or "408". Technically it could also be "409" for the cubic inch of the motor if these numbers mean anything to ya.

"tonka"

I call mine "blackie" sometimes.

I just call mine "the diesel". So you could say something like, "when all else fails,(long pause) bring in the diesel."

Electric over hydraulic. I asked Redding if I should get the PTO option on the truck b4 I ordered it and they told me the PTO option is only a fitting. You then need to purchase the PTO ($4,000) and it would only work in park or N and you would have to step on the gas... This unit has a capacity of 8,000#'s.

dcb001 Truckasaurous, I like that one so far
Now, if I can get spell check to recognize the spelling of this new word....

WOW Pam, 5 pages of names? Who knew? And, it is my wife who wants me to name it because I have 2 black superduty's and when I say the 350 or the 450 she gives me a blank stare and says "which one is that" The 350 is Black Knight (dumb, but it is a name) and the 450 soon to be called ???
