i hear alot of talk and hype anout this mass air conversion
ive got a 95 f 150 302 5 speed 4x4
what does this mass air do
and what would it do for my truck
If your truck is stock I would not do anything (or not enough to notice). Mass air measures the Air to Fuel ratio different than Speed Density. Mass Air is more accurate and can compensate for upgrades in performance. Speed Density cannot compensate for added performance (atleast not nearly as well). So if you dont plan on adding a ton of HP then stick with the Speed Density setup.
You might want to check to make sure you dont have Mass air already. Mass air has one tube running from the intake to the air filter. In the middle of that tube should be a sensor which is the mass air sensor. Speed density will have two tubes and no sensor!
