From a manuel to an automatic
Hi all,
I have a 90 F-350, 7.3 diesel, 5spd manuel,2wd that I pull some large trailers with, while on our last haul my father said that he would like to put in a auto tranny in the place of the manuel. I personally like the 5spd but its his truck and his $$$$ so here I am asking this question, can this be done. We would not be doing the job ourselves but hire it out if it can be done. We still would like to have the shifter in the floor. I have no idea if this can be done but hay I had to ask. Should we just look for a new truck?
