So my 99' 5.4 developed a bad knock today- sounds like a rod- maybe piston seems like the knock is high. I have a injector failing and just got a set to put in, its had a tick for about a month or so which we thought was the injector, plus it would stumple every now and then. So anything to check or am I looking at pulling the motor and rebuilding?

I bought it new and it has just under 125,000 on it. Been good at regular oil changes and maintanence, but it has been eating oil the last few and it was a little low on oil.

Feel like I'm rambling on but my minds a little scrambled right now, just thought I'd throw something up and see what other guys have to say or have expeirenced.
