custom bull bar

i am going to build a custom bull bar for my 1997 f150 4x4. i was wondering what size tubing to use. it will just be for looks so it doesn't need to be heavy duty. any ideas on how to do it or even pictures would help. i will be welding and bending the pipe in shop class so the simpler the better.

for lights or looks? i built one with a friend just to hold lights. i think it is still my pic on here.
